When does waste stop being wasteful?
Organic and agricultural residues are often treated as materials that simply need to be collected, transported and disposed of. But some of those waste streams still contain something valuable: carbon.
Reclimate works with waste owners and managers to identify suitable biomass streams and explore whether they can support durable carbon-removal projects. Where the conditions are right, residues can be converted through technologies such as pyrolysis into biochar rather than following conventional disposal pathways.
We help connect the entire journey from understanding the feedstock and selecting an appropriate technology to measuring the carbon impact and navigating verification and market access.
The result is a different way of looking at waste: not simply as something to get rid of, but as a resource that could generate environmental and economic value.
